Alan Jerome Frazier was born October 16, 1956, to Clarence and Eileen (Keuter) Frazier in Dunlap, Iowa. Alan attended school in Dunlap. He proudly served his country in the United States Army for 23 years. Alan married Kerry Grosz on February 14, 1976. In 1984 Alan married Edna "Edie" Malcom at Dick Wood's Barber Shop in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The couple lived in Arion, Iowa. Alan worked in the maintenance department at the Boyer Valley Plant near Denison for the last 15 to 20 years.

In his earlier years Alan loved working as a car mechanic. He enjoyed playing cards, visiting with friends, fishing, hunting and riding his motorcycle. He also enjoyed telling stories. He loved people and never knew a stranger because everyone was his friend.

Alan died on Friday, May 15, 2015, as a result of a auto accident near Arion, Iowa at the age of 58 years, six months, and 29 days.

Alan was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Dennis Keuter. He is survived by his wife, Edie Frazier of Arion, Iowa; three children, Jennifer Frazier and special friend Cody Warren of Boxelder, South Dakota, Alan Frazier and Jeremy Frazier both of Rapid City, South Dakota; five grandchildren; two sisters, Barbara Cogdill of Ankeny, Iowa, Carolynn Frazier of Council Bluffs, Iowa; brother, Mark Reicken of Columbus, Nebraska; and many other relatives and friends.
