Andrew Bak

Andrew David Bak was born August 9, 1987, to Brian and Cynthia (Culver) Bak in Sac City, Iowa. He attended school for his first six years in Jefferson/Scranton and then the family moved to Woodbine. Andrew graduated from Woodbine Community School in 2006. Andrew worked for Hardwood Builders and Triple C Roofing.

Andrew loved to play baseball and go bowling. He also enjoyed camping, fishing, golfing, cutting wood and blaring his music.

Andrew died on Thursday, February 14, 2013, at the Community Memorial Hospital in Missouri Valley, Iowa at the age of 25 years, six months, and five days.

Andrew was preceded in death by his two grand-fathers, Glen Culver and Robert "Bob" Bak and grandmother, Betty Bak. He is survived by his mother, Cyndi Bak and Vince Wheeler of Dunlap, Iowa; father Brian Bak and his wife Tammy of Woodbine, Iowa; three sisters, Chantel and her husband Chad Kirk of Scranton, Iowa, Elise and her husband Bryan Jablonski of Scranton, Iowa, Breanna Bak of Woodbine, Iowa; one brother, Brian Bak II of Woodbine, Iowa; two grandmothers, Evelyn Culver of Dunlap, Iowa and Moe Bak of Sioux City, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
