Annette Louise Flint
June 13, 1957 – May 3, 2024
Annette Louise Flint passed away May 3, 2024, in Fremont, Nebraska. Annette was born June 13, 1957, to Floyd Robert and Marilyn Lucille (Shearer Coffman) Flint in Pisgah, Iowa. She graduated from West Harrison High School in 1975 and from Northwest Missouri State University in 1979 with a business management degree.
Over her career, Annette worked as a designer of seasonal merchandise and home décor for Northwest Fabric and Crafts, Paper Magic Group, Seasonal Specialties, Springs Industries, DMD Inc., and Gerson Company. She often travelled for her work to Hong Kong, China, Vietnam, Taiwan, and the Philippines. One product Annette was proud of was a pair of Thanksgiving turkey figurines dressed in pearls and a tie called Lloyd and Lucille.
Annette loved to travel and to see shows and concerts. She visited Canada, Mexico, Jamaica (volunteering for Habitat for Humanity), England, Spain, and Macau, and all but eight states in the U.S. In her younger years, she loved to camp and play golf. Annette was also a great dog lover.
Annette’s biggest joy was her family, and she was dearly beloved to her three siblings, nephew and two nieces, and three great-nephews and great-niece. She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Mariruth (George) Peters; and her beloved dog Cody. She is survived by her brother, Robert (Rebecca) Flint; sister, Marcia Flint; nephew, Joshua Flint; nieces, Stefanie Peters and Samantha (Will) Bosland; great-nephews, Jackson, Rowen, and Wilson Flint; and great-niece, Linden Flint.
