Betty Jane Bruck

Betty Jane (Gilbreath) Bruck was born February 10, 1941, to Thomas and Cynthia (LeRette) Gilbreath in Shelby, Iowa.

Betty was raised in Dow City and Council Bluffs. She married Norman Bedsaul in 1957, to this union five children were born. The couple lived in Council Bluffs and she worked at a bowling alley and as a waitress. They moved to Dow City and she worked at Ettleman's caf� and then at Farmland for 15 years. On September 3, 1971, Betty married Bill Bruck. Betty started selling Mary Kay Cosmetics in 1980. The couple has lived in the Dow City area since then.

Betty was a member of the Congregational Church. She enjoyed painting, singing, playing the keyboard and the guitar.

Betty died on August 17, 2003, at Creighton Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 62 years, six months, and seven days.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents and nephew David Gilbreath. She is survived by her husband Bill of Dow City, Iowa; five children Randy and Yun Bedsaul of St. Robert, Missouri, Cindy and Randy Ulmer of Charter Oak, Iowa, Connie and Rick Reis of Manning, Iowa, Rich and Becky Bedsaul of Sutherland, Iowa, Ron and Rhonda Bedsaul of Vail, Iowa; two brothers Thomas and Geraldine Gilbreath, Jr. of Dunlap, Iowa, Gorden and Joan Gilbreath of Leslie, Missouri; sister Beverly and Rodney Crosse of Council Bluffs, 17 grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
