Dunlap, Iowa

Cade Matthew Petersen was born June 22, 2010, in Omaha, Nebraska to Jay and Kris (Marsh) Petersen of Dunlap, Iowa. He was baptized at St. John's Lutheran Church in Dunlap. He died Thursday, April 5, 2012, in his mom's arms at Children's Hospital in Omaha.

Cade was preceded in death by his grandparents Joyce and Darryl Petersen of Schleswig, Iowa. He is survived by his parents, Jay and Kris Petersen of Dunlap, Iowa; two half-brothers, Conlan Petersen and Cooper Petersen and one half-sister Kylie Petersen all of Dunlap, Iowa; grandparents, Doug and Carol Marsh of Lincoln, Nebraska; three great grandmas, Irene Davis of Hebron, Nebraska, Lillie Petersen of Schleswig, Iowa, and Nellie Petersen of Denison, Iowa; as well as a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and his three dogs.
