Charlotte Cox

Charlotte Eileen Nuzum Cox was born on September 20, 1951 in Pisgah, Iowa to parents Robert & Nettie (Lantz) Nuzum. She graduated from Woodbine High School in 1970. On March 6, 1971, she married Ronald Cox in Dunlap, Iowa. The couple lived in Pisgah, Moorhead and December of 1981 moved to Woodbine. Charlotte had worked at CDS in Harlan for 20 years as a Customer Service Rep. She had also worked as a clerk at Pronto in Woodbine for a few years.
Charlotte enjoyed reading and shopping. She had recently joined the Red Hat Society.
Charlotte died on Tuesday, February 21, 2006 in Harlan, Iowa at the age of 54 years, five months and 1 day.
Charlotte was preceded in death by her daughter, Lorraine on June 6, 1992. She is survived by her husband Ronald Cox of Woodbine, Iowa; daughter Denise & Matt Van Heiden of Las Vegas, Nevada: son Edward Cox of Maple Park, Illinois; parents Bob & Nettie Nuzum of Woodbine, Iowa; eight siblings, Jim Nuzum of Woodbine, Iowa, Rosella & Delbert Shelley of Kimballton, Iowa, Roger & Cindy Nuzum of Audubon, Iowa, Rita & Walter Shumate of Dunlap, Iowa, Reta & Tom Crampton of Vail, Iowa, Brian Nuzum of Woodbine, Iowa, Cheryl & Bryan Krueger of Omaha, Nebraska and Gale & Teresa Nuzum of Woodbine, Iowa and many other relatives and friends.
