     Connie Sue Swift was born on March 9, 1956, in Crawford County, Iowa to Harold Hans and Loretta Lena (Hoffmeier) Wulf. She graduated from the Denison, Iowa High School in 1974. Connie worked at the Super Value grocery store and Eat More Café in Denison. In June of 1974, Connie met Gaylin Swift and two years later, on March 7, 1976, they were married in Woodbine, Iowa. Connie and Gaylin were blessed with two children, Amber and Wesley. Connie was blessed to be able to be at home while her children were growing up. Outside of the house she worked in several different local businesses including Bob’s Ice Cream Parlor, Apotheca, Pizza Hut, the Woodbine Senior Center and the Town Inn Motel.

     Connie was a very caring person and would go over and above to help people. She was known to be the softball and 4-H mom to many children. She was also very crafty and gifted many photo memory books to people. Connie cherished the joy and laughter of little children. Most of all, Connie loved her family.

     Connie died on Tuesday, January 31, 2023, at Azria Health Rose Vista in Woodbine at the age of 66 years, 10 months and 22 days.

     Connie was preceded in death by her father and her brother, David Wulf. She is survived by her husband, Gaylin Swift of Woodbine; daughter, Amber (Len) Olson of Sioux Falls, South Dakota; son, Wesley (Amanda) Swift of Council Bluffs, Iowa; ‘extra’ son, Jaydon Allen (Brooke Barnett) of Mondamin, Iowa; five grandchildren, Cassie, Courtney, Terrance, Daniel and Serenity; nine great-grandchildren, Karleigh, Brayden, Willow, William, Kolten, Henry, Riley, Tanner and Charlotte; mother, Loretta Anderson of Denison; brothers, Russel (Mary) Wulf of Omaha, Nebraska, Dale (Kathy) Wulf of Glenwood, Iowa, Kenneth (Laura) Wulf of Nixa, Missouri and Robert (Sandy) Wulf of Deloit, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
