Dawn Scott

Dawn Lee Scott was born on September 21, 1955, to Richard and Phyllis (Nack) Scott in Council Bluffs, Iowa. Dawn was raised in Council Bluffs and graduated from Abraham Lincoln High School. Dawn lived with her mother for most of her life and worked at various group homes.

Dawn enjoyed reading ~ especially her Bible and Agatha Christie books. She also enjoyed working word search puzzles. Dawn loved stuffed animals especially bears. Several years ago she enjoyed walking her dog around town.

Dawn died on Monday, July 25, 2016, at the Rose Vista Nursing Home in Woodbine, Iowa at the age of 60 years, 10 months, and four days.

Dawn was preceded in death by her grandparents; father; and two sisters, Debbie Robinson and Melody Watkins. She is survived by her mother, Phyllis Barnard of Woodbine, Iowa; brother, Richard Barnard of Council Bluffs, Iowa; eight nieces; three nephews; and other relatives and friends.
