Edie Frazier

Edna "Edie" Beatrice (Malcom) Frazier was born June 12, 1956, to John and Beatrice (Keuter) Malcom in Kansas. The family moved around some and Edie graduated from MarVista High School in California. She then drove a semi for a while. Edie married Alan Jerome Frazier at Dick Wood's Barber shop in Council Bluffs. The couple lived in Arion, Iowa. Edie worked at Wal-Mart and Eventide. Alan died on May 15, 2015.

Edie enjoyed sewing and making her own clothes. She loved to hunt and fish. She also loved all animals and frequently took in stray animals.

Edie died on Monday, May 1, 2017, at Eventide Nursing Home in Denison, Iowa at the age of 60 years, 10 months, and 19 days.

Edie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Alan Frazier; and brother, John Malcom. She is survived by two children, Scott Rowan and Ryan Rowan both of FL; two nieces, Jess (Justin) McGuire and their children of PA and Vanessa Renee of Spokane, WA and her children; three step-children, Jennifer Frazier and friend Cody Warren of Boxelder, SD, Alan Frazier and Jeremy Frazier both of Rapid City, SD; five step-grandchildren; brother, Jim (Denise) Malcom of Schleswig, IA; and many other relatives and friends.
