Eilene Allyn

     Eilene Jane (Kelley) Allyn, 83 died on Wednesday, October 25, 2023, at the Dunlap Specialty Care Center. She was born on September 15, 1940, in Omaha, Nebraska to parents Floyd and Lois Eilene (Larmire) Kelley. She grew up in the Omaha and Council Bluffs area and attended Westside High School in Omaha. In 1955, she married Mervin Allen. They lived in the Omaha and Council Bluffs area and then moved to Oakland, Iowa. Eilene married Gene Allyn and they lived in Council Bluffs, Omaha and then River Sioux. Eilene retired from Vickers in Omaha after working there for 40 years. Gene died in October of 2007. She loved her cats.

     Eilene was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gene Allyn; sister, Judy; six sons, Donald, Paul, Richard, Jerry, Aaron and John Allen. She is survived by two children, Billy Allen and his wife Cindy of Blencoe, Iowa, Sharon and her husband Randy Davis of Council Bluffs, Iowa; daughters-in-law, Patricia Collison, Vickie Allen and Susan Allyn; six grandchildren, Kishta Allen, Jerrin Allen, Adam Allyn, Matt Allyn, Jacob Allyn and Aaron Allen; five great grandchildren, Brandon, Colin, Charlotte, Hazel Allyn and Darian Allen; two sisters, Galene and her husband Herman Littrell and Nancy Kelley both of Madera, California; brother, Glenn Kelley of Madera, California and many other relatives and friends.
