Emily Moser

     Emily JoAn Moser was born on February 8, 2006, in Omaha, Nebraska. She was raised on the family farm outside of Woodbine, Iowa and moved with her family to Modale, Iowa in 2014. Emily graduated in 2024.

     Emily was known for her deep love of anime, a passion that sparked her imagination and offered her a unique window into storytelling and art. Her drawing was more than a hobby; it was a true expression of her soul. Her animals held a special place in her heart, reflecting her gentle and compassionate nature. Emily is deeply missed by all who knew her, and her spirit remains forever in the hearts of those she touched.

     Emily lost a hard fought battle with mental illness on Friday, March 6, 2026, at the age of 20 years and 26 days.

     Emily is survived by her mother, Leslie Moser of Modale; father, Jesse Moser of Oakland, Nebraska; sister, Jessica and her husband Edgar Zamarripa of Fremont, Nebraska; half brother and sister, Nevaeh and Warren of Omaha, Nebraska; four nieces; six nephews; and many other relatives and friends.

     The family will host a celebration of her life at a later date.
