Gordon Douglas Frazier was born on September 20, 1951 to parents Robert and Adabelle (Schwartz) Frazier in Denison, Iowa. He attended school in Dunlap and also took some college courses. Gordon married Rosetta Lary on August 10, 1970, at the Methodist Church in Woodbine, Iowa. The couple lived in several cities including Omaha, North Platte, Sergeant Bluff, and Washington State before settling in Gretna, Nebraska, in 1988. Gordon always worked in the banking industry and he retired as an Executive Vice President from Mutual First Federal Credit Union.
Gordon loved to golf and spent many years on the golf course. He was also an avid Nebraska Cornhusker Fan. Around the home, he enjoyed taking care of the yard and landscaping. Gordon treasured following his children and grandchildren in their sporting events.
Gordon died on August 16, 2020, at his home at the age of 68 years, 10 months and 27 days.
Gordon was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Jerry, Terry and Frank Frazier; two sisters, Sandi Mahlberg and Robbi Wendt; three half-brothers, Lee, George and Bernard Frazier; and two half-sisters, Phyllis Stubbe and Ruth Dupt. Gordon is survived by Rosetta Frazier of Gretna, Nebraska: three children, Tracy Frazier and her boyfriend Edward Watkins of Millard, Nebraska, Brent Frazier of Bellevue, Nebraska and Kevin Frazier and his girlfriend Carri Nielsen of Gretna; seven grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brother, Troy Frazier and his wife Chris of Dunlap; half-sister, Norma Jean and her husband George Bosiljevac of Albuquerque, New Mexico; and many other relatives and friends.
