Janet Feser

Agnes Janet (Heffernan) Feser was born June 7, 1935, to Maurice and Helen (Shanahan) Heffernan. She attended school in Ute and graduated from Ute High School in 1954. After graduation she moved to Omaha and began working in the insurance industry. On June 16, 1956, Janet married James Feser in Charter Oak. She raised three daughters. Janet returned to the workforce doing various jobs, but she most loved being with her family. Janet moved to Blair, Nebraska in 1999. She enjoyed playing cards, doing crafts and taking care of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Janet died on Thursday, October 25, 2012, at the age of 77 years, four months, and 18 days.

Janet was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Joe Heffernan. She is survived by her three daughters, Joan (Jack) Bolter of Omaha, Nebraska, Michele (Tim) Edens-Armstrong of Papillion, Nebraska, Jennifer (Gregg) Studanski of Blair, Nebraska; nine grandchildren; 2+ great grandchildren; twin sister, Joann (Donnie) Stessman of Dunlap, Iowa; two brothers, Tim (Jan) Heffernan of Missouri Valley, Iowa, Mike (Shirley) Heffernan of Bonner Springs, Kansas; and many other relatives and friends.
