Friends are welcome to join at the cemetery but please stay at your cars. A sound system will be set up so everyone can hear the service.

THE VISITATION IS AN OPEN VISITATION AND WE WILL LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE FUNERAL HOME TO NO MORE THAN 10 AT ONE TIME.

Jeffery Lynn Wallis was born on October 10, 1962 in Onawa, Iowa, to parents Malvern and Dorothy (Bell) Wallis. He grew up in Mondamin and graduated from West Harrison High School in 1981. Jeff then went into the construction business working for RD Blue Construction and various other construction companies. He also operated Wallis Tree Trimming Service. Jeff was a hard worker and loved to help others. In his younger years he liked to fish, hunt and trap.

Jeff died on Wednesday, April 22, 2020 at the CHI Health in Missouri Valley at the age of 57 years, six months and 12 days.

Jeff was preceded in death by his father, Malvern Wallis and brother, Tim Wallis. He is survived by his three children, Jessica and her husband Kevin Johnson of Blair, Nebraska, Joshua Wallis and his wife Chelsea of Blair, Nebraska, and Tylor Wallis of Missouri Valley, Iowa; six grandchildren; mother Dorothy Wallis of Mondamin, Iowa; brother Gregg Wallis and his wife Beverly of Woodbine, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
