Joe Steven Clark, 66, of Cairo, Missouri, died unexpectedly Friday evening, August 17, 2012, in the emergency room at Moberly Regional Medical Center. Joe was born January 4, 1946, in Woodbine, Iowa to Max and Mayme (Henderson) Clark. Joe worked for Orscheln Farm and Home as the Product Manager/ Buyer in Moberly, Missouri. His career began in 1968 at TSC, followed by Quality Farm and Fleet, then Wheelers, next Clark's Farm Supply in Woodbine, and then Country General Stores, and finally Orschelns. Joe received buyer of the year awards at Orschelns and numerous awards at former companies.

Joe played football for Woodbine High School and was all conference his senior year. He loved automotive hobbies and boating and family time at his lake home in Missouri. Joe's friends say one of his best assets was his upbeat and friendly personality.

Joe is preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Cass Clark. He is survived by his wife, Janice Marjorie Evans Clark of Moberly, Missouri, whom he married on August 11, 1968, in Logan, Iowa. Also surviving are his children, Robert Clark of Bellevue, Nebraska, Kristine and her husband Patrick O'Neill of Grand Island, Nebraska and Monte Clark and his wife Anna of Logan, Iowa, five grandchildren, Marley Clark, Clair Clark, Meadow Clark, Owen O'Neill, and Isaac O'Neill; sister, Jean Clark and Peachy Mefferd of Woodbine, Iowa; cousin's, Ruth Henss of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Susan Foster, of Burbank, California and Clark Hamilton of Tallahassee, Florida; and many other relatives and friends.
