John Michael White was born July 24, 1956, to Robert and Dorothy (Adams) White in Council Bluffs, Iowa. He was raised in Woodbine and graduated from Woodbine High School in 1975. He then attended Dana College for two years. John married Karen Guse in 1982 in Omaha, Nebraska. John worked at First Data for 27 years. He then worked for Interstate Breads (Hostess & Wonder Bread) until 2012. Due to John's failing health he was recently put on disability. In 1997 John married Candace Thoms in Las Vegas, Nevada.

John enjoyed cooking for others, and watching golf and cooking shows. John liked the quote, "It isn't burnt it's Cajun." He enjoyed entertaining, listening to music ~ particularly jazz and rock & roll and cheering for the Hawkeyes. He also loved his dogs, Marvin & Frankie.

John died on Wednesday, June 4, 2014, at his home in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 57 years, 10 months, and 11 days.

John was preceded in death by his parents; and two brothers, William Robert and Thomas Edward. He is survived by his wife, Candace White of Omaha, Nebraska; four children, Cloy Crawford, Katherine White, Andrew White and his wife Gisela, and Carlee White all of Omaha; five+ grandchildren, Trent, Shane, Bodie, Aaron, Raymond; step-daughters, Ryan Noel and her husband Mike Brown, Lacey Marie Attebery and Katherine Irene and her husband Ron Nieto all of Omaha; and many other relatives and friends.
