Karl Seeburger

Karl William Seeburger was born on August 23, 1935, to Fred and Naomi (Snodgrass) Seeburger in Des Moines, Iowa. He attended school in Des Moines and graduated from Dowling High School. Karl worked for North Western Railroad for two years, Iowa Interstate for 15 years, and the Rock Island Railroad for 25 years as an engineer. Karl proudly served his country in the United States Navy from 1953 to 1960. Karl married   Patricia Speake on May 2, 1981.

Karl was a member of the Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Des Moines. He was a lifetime member of Amvets Post 2 in Des Moines; holding local, district and state offices. He enjoyed camping, fishing and traveling. He loved dancing and spending time with family and friends.

Karl died on Thursday, January 23, 2020, at his home in Moorhead at the age of 84 years, and five months.

Karl was preceded in death by his parents. He is   survived by his wife, Patricia Seeburger of Moorhead, Iowa; four children, Tara and her husband Eric Schneph of Dallas, Texas, Brett Seeburger of Des Moines, Iowa, James Ayers of Avoca, Iowa and Gina and her husband Charles Storm of Moorhead, Iowa; seven grandchildren; one  brother, Mike Seeburger and his wife Mary Joe of Ankeny, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
