Kevin Gochenour

Walter Kevin Gochenour was born March 19, 1957, to Albert and LaMoine (Dougal) Gochenour in Missouri Valley, Iowa. He was raised near Magnolia, Iowa and attended school in Magnolia through the sixth grade. He then attended Logan Magnolia school and graduated in 1975. Kevin married Deb Daigh in 1975 and the couple was blessed with two sons. Kevin married Lori (Hutcheson) Kuhlman in December of 1986. Kevin was a mechanic for Daigh DX Station in Logan, Bob Anderson Ford and John Markel Ford. Kevin had a motorcycle accident in July of 2001 and had to retire from work due to his injuries. Kevin enjoyed working on engines, cars and also in the woodshop. He loved his border collie dogs as well.

Kevin died on Wednesday, February 4, 2015, at Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 57 years, 10 months, and 16 days.

Kevin was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Charles Briney. He is survived by his wife, Lori Gochenour of Logan, Iowa; four children, Sean Gochenour of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Nicholas Gochenour of Bentonville, Arkansas, Travis (Bridget) Kuhlman of Omaha, Nebraska, Patrick (Chance Schubert) Kuhlman of Bentonville, Arkansas; six grandchildren; brother, Larry (Mary Ann) Gochenour of Magnolia, Iowa; parents-in-law, Bill and Diana Hutcheson of Woodbine, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
