Kim Jones

     Kimberly Christine Jones, 58, of Missouri Valley, Iowa, passed away on November 3, 2026, at Dunlap Specialty Care in Dunlap, Iowa. Kim was born on January 14, 1968, to Raymond and Barbara Jones. She lived a life marked by her love for dachshunds and a deep kindness for all animals.

     For 21 years, Kim was the beloved partner and truest companion of Debra Aplara. Together, they built a home filled with love, various dogs, step-children, and a granddaughter. The bond that Kim and Deb shared was a constant source of strength and an example to all who knew them.

     Kim pursued several different jobs throughout the years. She last worked as a cook at the Hardin County Sherrif’s Office in Eldora, Iowa, for CBM. At whatever job she held, she did it with a great work ethic and dedication. Outside of work, Kim loved to ride motorcycles, fish, and spend time with her family.

     Kim is preceded in death by her parents; stepdaughter, Ashley Delude; as well as grandparents and extended family. Kim is survived by her partner, Deb; stepdaughter, Vanessa Delude; granddaughter, Ashlyn Delude; brothers, Bill (Stacey) Jones, Bob Jones, and John Jones; and many other nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
