     Kristi Marie Little was born on May 8,1974, in Onawa, Iowa to Ron and Sharon (Jors) Lee. She was baptized on June 30, 1974, and confirmed on April 03,1988 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Dunlap. She attended school at East Monona and graduated in 1992. Kristi then attended Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs. On December 19, 1992, Kristi married the love of her life, Dave Little. They were blessed with two children, Baylee and Josh. Kristi worked at the Feed Bunk in earlier years. Over the years, Kristi was employed by U.S. Bank, Family First Dental, Sullivan Supply, and Agriland.

     From an early age, Kristi was involved in 4-H, where she showed pigs and cattle. Her involvement taught her the value of dedication and hard work, but her favorite part of it all was the water fights at the fair. Kristi had a wonderful appreciation for the joys that life had to offer. She loved the holidays, fresh-cut flowers, trips to the zoo, watching soap operas, girls trips, and vacations that involved a beach. Kristi looked forward to watching the trees change colors and seeing the first snowfall of the winter. She loved the freedom of getting in the car with her husband and kids for Friday night drives and road trips. Summers brought special memories of swimming pool days with Dave’s mom and the kids. Kristi also had a creative side and enjoyed photography. She had the opportunity to capture many special moments for others. Kristi treasured the people she loved. She found great happiness in the moments shared with family and friends, as they all shared a precious place in her heart. Her granddaughter brought an incredible amount of joy to her life, and she would gladly rearrange her day just to spend time with her. Kristi was known for her positive outlook, courageous heart, and incredible strength. She faced life with determination and still always found reasons to smile and enjoy the moments that mattered most.

     Kristi died on August 24, 2026, at her home in Soldier, Iowa at the age of 52 years, three months, and 16 days surrounded by her loved ones.

     Kristi was preceded in death by her brother, Justin Lee; and in-laws, Ron and Sherry Little. She is survived by her husband Dave Little of Soldier; children, Baylee Little of Omaha, Nebraska, and Josh Little and Sienna Russi of Soldier; granddaughter, Jamisyn Little; parents, Ron and Sharon Lee of Moorhead, Iowa; siblings, Tammy and Harold Lee of Le Mars, Iowa, Angela Winegar of Omaha, Nebraska, and Jon and Courtney Lee of Moorhead; nieces and nephews, Morgan Lee, Ethan Lee, Aaron Lee, Paydon Winegar, Aleah Winegar, Alivia Lee, Bennett Lee, Everett Lee; sister-in-law, Shelly and Dave Foss of Soldier, and many other relatives and friends.
