LeRoy "Jeb" Crom

     LeRoy Dale “Jeb” Crom was born on September 12, 1955, in Oakland, Nebraska to Raymond and Norma Jean (Magill) Crom. He grew up and attended school in Tekamah, Nebraska. Jeb was a jack of all trades but enjoyed working construction, mainly working in the concrete and carpentry business.

     Jeb loved to go hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed playing pool and softball. When he wasn’t playing, he spent time umping the games. In the fall Jeb helped set up duck blinds for corporate hunting trips for large companies from the Omaha area.

     Jeb died on Tuesday, September 19, 2023, at his home in Logan, Iowa at the age of 68 years and seven days.

     Jeb was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his mother, Norma Jean Schroeder of Tekamah; daughter, Brenda (Mike) Shields of Lincoln, Nebraska; two grandchildren, Andrew and Emma; brother, Norman (Vickie) Barr of Tekamah; sisters, Debbie (Neil) Dunn of Craig, Nebraska and Denise Cowell of Tekamah; special friend, Vicky Lynch of Logan; nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
