Loretta Alvina Kline was born August 30, 1919, in Dunlap, Iowa to Elmer and Martha Kline. Martha died while giving birth to Loretta's younger sister. Her father later married Helen Lee. Loretta attended the Dunlap school. In 1937, Loretta married Napoleon Boneaparte Price, Jr. Loretta owned and operated the Circle Inn and later Loretta's Place in Council Bluffs. Napoleon died on December 25, 1986.

Loretta was baptized into the Congregational Church.

Loretta died on Thursday, October 14, 2004 at her home in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 85 years, one month and fourteen days.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband; son Elmer Floyd Price; two sisters Martha Oprah Crusha and Freeda Odessa Lee. She is survived by her three children Donna Lou Ronk of Log Cabin City, Texas, Janet Lea Coronel and her husband Eddie of Agoura Hills, California and Randy Dean Price and his wife Sue of Council Bluffs; several grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
