Lyle Hansen

     Lyle Hansen was born April 25, 1941, to H. Charles Hansen and Vivian (Berger) Hansen. He attended school in Woodbine, Iowa and then joined the United States Army, serving for 4 years. At around 22 years old, Lyle moved to Las Vegas where he worked for about 20 years for National Airlines, which was later bought out by Pan Am. Once Pan Am shut down, he became a limousine driver for the Desert Inn and later Ceasar’s from which he retired. 

     Lyle enjoyed family, video poker, keno, whiskey and had an eye for beautiful ladies. Not necessarily in that order!

     Lyle died on May 13, 2023, at the age of 82 years and 18 days.

     Lyle was preceded in death by his parents; brother, John Hansen; and sister, Carolyn Waldemer. He is survived by his son, Daniel (Shelley) Hansen; grandsons, Christopher, Nicholas and Chance; brother, Gene (Judy) Hansen; sister, Kathy Lecner; sister-in-law, Elaine Hansen; brother-in-law, Mike Waldemer; and many other relatives and friends.

A private graveside service will be held.
