M. Adams

Margaret Katherine Royer Adams, daughter of Clarence and Edna Houghton Royer, was born April 2, 1914, at Woodbine, Iowa. She died Sunday, July 16, 2006, at her home at Remington Heights Assisted Living in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 92 years, three months and fourteen days.
Katherine graduated from Woodbine High School. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in 1969 from Dana College. She was married to Romain Adams May 22, 1940, and to this union was born a daughter and two sons. The couple farmed in the Woodbine area until 1953 when they moved to Logan.
She was a member of the Logan Christian Church where she was the Pre-School Sunday School teacher for thirty-two years. She taught public school for thirty-one years, the last twenty-one in the Logan - Magnolia system teaching 5th grade. She was a member of the Delvers Study Club and Harrison County Retired School Personnel Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents, infant daughter Carol Jean, her husband, Romain, daughter-in-law, Glenette Hillman Adams, and her brother Bob Royer and his wife Betty. Survivors include her two sons, Terry and his wife Carolyn of Omaha, NE and Keith and his wife Linda of Council Bluffs, IA; sisters, Carolyn Babl and husband Walter of Mapleton, IA Betty Thomas and husband Bill of Mo. Valley, IA; brother Lynn Royer and wife Jean of Woodbine, IA; four grandchildren, Jeff Adams of Salt Lake City, UT, Teresa Goff and husband Kevin of Gretna, NE, Terra Wyscarver and husband Zack of Omaha, NE and Lanny Adams and wife, Nicole of Council Bluffs, IA; five and � great grandchildren, Alex, Ryan, Logan, Glenna, and Easton; other relatives and many friends.
