Major Allan Weber

Major Allan Ray Weber was born on April 14, 1941, to Ray and Ella May (Glawinski) Weber in Dunlap, Iowa. He graduated from Dunlap High School with the class of 1959. After graduation, Allan worked for the railroad and attended Wayne State college for a short time. Allan joined the United States Marine Corp and proudly served his country for over 25 years, retiring in 1989. Allan married Sandra Oliver and to this union Raymond was born. After Sandra died, Allan was united in marriage to Helen Dethlefsen on June 3, 1995.

Allan and Helen spent many years salmon fishing. After they moved to Florida, the couple purchased a Harley Davidson Ultra Glide and cherished the time they were able to spend together exploring on the bike. Allan was a great husband, dad, grandpa, brother and friend. He truly enjoyed his time with the people in his life.

Allan died on March 12, 2021, in Lehigh Acres, Florida at the at the age of 79 years, 10 months and 27 days.

Allan was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Sandra; and nephew, Larry Muff. He is survived by his wife, Helen Weber of Lehigh Acres; children, Raymond (Erica) Weber of Denison, Iowa, Sue Fangman (special friend, Mike Haldemen) of Creve Coeur, Illinois, Patty (Bill) Squires of Lehigh Acres, Teri Fangman of Lehigh Acres and Michelle (Bruce) Uthe of Ogden, Iowa; grandchildren, Jason (Kelsey) Logan, Jessica Logan (special friend, Tim Schroeder), Dustin (Lois) Logan, Lyle Weber, Andrew Peppels (fiancé, Gloria), Ryan Peppels, Cody Clemons, Justin Clemons (special friend, Alesha), Hunter Wirth, Hallie Wirth, Brenden Kniesly and Kienen Kniesly; great-grandchildren, Logan Baker, Charlie Logan, Natalie Logan, Braxton Kniesly and Kipton Kniesly; siblings, Ron (Janelle) Weber, Judy (Larry) Muff and Debra (Paul) Leonard; many nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
