Margaret Schneider

Margaret J. Schneider entered her eternal home on May 17, 2016, at Rose Vista Nursing Home.

Margaret was born to Harold and Lorna Brown on February 27, 1924, Margaret lived her entire life in Harrison County. She was a 3rd grade teacher in Dunlap, Woodbine, and Missouri Valley Schools. On August 18, 1946, Margaret married the love of her life, Jim Fouts. They farmed together until Jim's early passing in 1974. Margaret was so fortunate to find love again. In June of 1976 she married Ed Schneider. They retired from farming in 1989 and spent their winters in Florida. In 2007 they sold the farm and Ed bought Margaret a brand new home. They were able to spend 35 years together.

Celebrating her memory are sons and wives, Larry and Ann, Randy and Denise, and Mike and Cheryl. Her grandchildren, Matt and Amy Fouts, Susan and John Pelikan, Michelle Fouts, Nick and Megan Fouts, Brianna and Tim Suchanek, and P.J. Fouts will forever remember their Grama Mo for her cherry pies, ice box cookies, Crystal Lake muffins, gardening, her love of flowers, dancing and singing. Even though, great grandchildren, Tatum, Ellis, Abigail, Kendal, Peyton, Angelina and Zoey won't spend time with her, their parents will tell stories of her love and kindness, her smile and laughter.

Besides her immediate family, Margaret will be remembered by sisters-in-law, Lois Brown and Luella Paustian; many nieces and nephews and friends in Woodbine.
