Mark Demler

     Mark Lewis Demler, born on June 9, 1959, passed away at home on September 26, 2025, reuniting with his beloved parents, Barbara Jean (Dale) Tarr and John Lewis Demler; his cherished wife, Betty; his brother, Michael Ross Tarr; and his nephew, Nicholas Micheal.

    A proud Boystown graduate of 1977, Mark soon answered the call to serve in the US Marine Corps. After his medical discharge, he embraced life as a true jack-of-all-trades, always eager to lend a hand or try something new. Mark’s passion for music filled many joyful jam sessions, and his artistic talent left a lasting impression on those around him. 

     He is lovingly remembered by his only child, Traci Nicole; granddaughter, Kaitlynn; sister, Dea Hamburger and her husband, Tom; and brother, Patrick Tarr. Mark’s legacy also lives on through his nieces, Stacy Sands, Jessica Turner, Daisy Dahlquist, Stormy Khuc, Brittani Tarr, Akasha Tarr, Amberdawn Tarr and Cori Tarr; as well as his nephews, Joe Fishler, Chris Fishler, Jeremy Fishler, Zack Rudy and Ricky Tarr. He is also fondly remembered by a large family of great-nieces,nephews, and friends.
