N. Frazier

Naomi Irene Frazier was born on November 1, 1935, in Orson, Iowa to Riley and Floy (Small) Alexander. Irene attended Logan High School and graduated in 1954. She then married Fred Frazier on July 12, 1954, in Council Bluffs, Iowa. The couple lived in Dunlap and she worked as a cook for the Gold Slipper and the Dunlap High School. Irene then went on be a cook at the Dunlap Nursing and Rehab Center. She retired from the Dunlap Nursing and Rehab Center in 2006.

Irene enjoyed going to the casino, watching sports, and working on puzzles. She also enjoyed playing with her granddog “Bases.”

Irene died on Monday, August 22, 2011, at the Crawford County Memorial Hospital in Denison, Iowa at the age of 75 years, nine months and 21 days.

Irene is preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Robert, Larry, and Gordon Alexander. She is survived by her husband, Fred; son, Terry D. Frazier and his wife Lori of Omaha, Nebraska; two sisters, June and her husband Al Lovrien of Lincoln, Nebraska, Phyllis Reynolds of Gautier, Mississippi; two nieces, Charlotte and Dick Lovrien of Lincoln, Nebraska, Teresa Kreienkamp of St. Louis, Missouri; and many other relatives and friends.
