Patsy Gray

Patsy Rae (Stewart) Gray was born October 28, 1933, to Dean B. and Josephine E. (Kopp) Stewart in Dunlap, Iowa. Patsy was raised in the Dunlap area and attended school in Dunlap. On December 19, 1949, Patsy was united in marriage to Cyril Everett Gray. The couple farmed in Moorhead and later moved back to the Dunlap area where they continued farming until Cyril's death in 1984. Patsy stayed on the farm for two more years and then moved to town. Patsy's family was her focus. She enjoyed her children and grandchildren.

Patsy died on Monday, February 17, 2014, at the Dunlap Care Center at the age of 80 years, three months, and 20 days.

Patsy was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Cyril Gray; and son, Charles Gray. She is survived by seven children, Cyrila (Ron) Roberts of Dunlap, Iowa, Dean Gray of Dow City, Iowa, David (Lee) Gray of Omaha, Nebraska, Michael (Joyce) Gray of Minden, Iowa, Patty Jo (Bill) Oliver of Lenox, Iowa, Kevin (Carmen) Gray of Omaha, Nebraska, Damon (Kim) Gray of Avoca, Iowa; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
