Sandi Mahlberg

Sandra Kay (Frazier) Mahlberg was born March 4, 1954, to Robert and Adabelle (Schwartz) Frazier in Omaha, Nebraska. She was raised in Dunlap and attended the public school. Sandi worked at various places in Dunlap and helped families with babysitting. She also worked at Larson's Café, Jo-Mart Steakhouse and the Dunlap Nursing & Rehab Center. On April 22, 1972, Sandi married David Mahlberg at St. Patrick's Catholic Church. The couple lived in various places before moving to Dunlap.

Sandi enjoyed collecting Avon collectibles, reading magazines and watching her soap operas. She particularly enjoyed spending time with her family ~ especially her grandchildren. She was the #1 fan of her boys' racing.

Sandi died on Thursday, October 24, 2013, at Mercy Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa at the age of 59 years, seven months and 20 days.

Sandi was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers, Frank, Lee, Bernard and Jerry Frazier; three sisters, Roberta Wendt, Phyllis Stubby and Ruth Doppe. She is survived by her husband, Dave Mahlberg of Dunlap, Iowa; four sons, Caine (Tamie) Mahlberg of Dunlap, IA, Jamie (Jody) Mahlberg of Earling, IA, Shannon (Mandy) Mahlberg of Odebolt, IA, David (Rachel) Mahlberg of Woodbine, IA; 11 grand-children; three brothers, Troy (Chris) Frazier of Dunlap, IA, Terry (Bernadette) Frazier of Dunlap, IA, Gordon (Rosetta) Frazier of Gretna, NE; sister, Jean (George) Bosiljevac of Albuquerque, NM; and many other relatives and friends.
