A tribute to Sarah from her family:

Sarah Dalise (Wallis) Bryceson lived 89 years upon this earth. She laughed a lot, cried and lived life to her fullest. She was a farmer‘s daughter and a farmer’s wife. When first married, she joined Larry in the Navy, traveling to Washington DC, and Norfolk, Virginia. Later, they lived and farmed in the Mondamin and Pisgah communities. They also lived in Missouri, Nebraska, wintered in Arizona, and most recently resided in Council Bluffs at Prairie Gate. They were fortunate to travel to many destinations. On April 1st, Larry and Sarah celebrated 70 years of marriage.

Music was a big factor in her life. She earned a music degree from Dana College in 1978. She played the organ for many years at the Methodist Church, as well as singing in many groups. She had wonderful memories of Longview Home, its residents and staff where she worked as the activity coordinator for 10 years.

She remembered fondly, those who went before her: her mother and father, Sadie and Dallas Wallis; her in-laws, Jim and Ilene Bryceson; her niece, Elizabeth Wallis; her sister, Deanna Wallis Davis; her brother-in-law, Tim Davis; her great grandson, Arthur Bryceson; and her grandson-in-law, Travis Harrison.

Those left to celebrate her life include her husband, Larry; her children, Deborah Nelsen, Mark Bryceson and Karla Grindle, and Jane and Bruce Johnson.

Others include her brother, Douglas Wallis and his wife Genevieve; nieces and nephew, Kim Davis, Sarah Davis Elliott, Martha Wallis Kiger, and Tom Wallis; grand-children, Joshua Bryceson, Ryan Nelsen, Lynne McWilliams, Katlyn Taylor, Cale Bryceson, Lindsey Cottle, and Tori Bryceson; (11) great grandchildren; and Bill Nelsen.
