Sarah Lee-Regier

     Sarah Joy Lee-Regier was born on October 4, 1977, in Kennard, Nebraska, to Deborah Goolsby. She grew up in the Kennard, Arlington, and Blair, Nebraska areas before later moving to Woodbine, Iowa. Sarah graduated Woodbine High School in 1996. Following high school, she attended Iowa Western Community College for two years, earning her Licensed Practical Nurse degree. She worked for several years at Good Shepherd and Marriott International before retiring due to health reasons.

     In her free time, Sarah enjoyed writing, reading, coloring, and collecting numerous Disney pins. She was known for her stubborn spirit and determination, facing life’s challenges with the heart of a fighter.

     Sarah died on Thursday, October 8, 2026, at Dunlap Specialty Care in Dunlap, Iowa, at the age of 49 years and 4 days.

     Sarah is survived by her mother, Deborah Goolsby of Dunlap, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
