Sarah Nelson

Sarah (Stomp) Nelson was born March 11, 1932, to William and Agnes (Park) Stomp in Dunlap, Iowa. Sarah attended country school near Dunlap and in February of 1986, she received her GED. Sarah married Willis Nelson on December 18, 1950. She helped farm and worked at World Wide Packing Plant for five years. She also walked beans for 25 years. Sarah and Donnie Krajicek have been together since the 1970s. Donnie died on July 3, 2016.

Sarah was a baptized member of the Congregational Church in Dunlap. She loved her dog, Brittany. Sarah enjoyed gardening, flowers, the 4 County Fair ~ where she won many ribbons, cats, dogs and bird watching. She also enjoyed doing puzzle books, working on puzzles and yard work. She loved being outdoors and also decorating for the holidays.

Sarah died on Monday, January 9, 2017, at her home outside Dunlap, Iowa at the age of 84 years, nine months and 29 days.

Sarah was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donnie Krajicek; and half sister, Annie Hardy Mills. She is survived by several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
