Suzan Jane (Ludwig) Hull was born November 27, 1947 in Denison, Iowa to parents Arnold and Marjorie (Jones) Ludwig. Sue's family moved to the Moorhead area when she was a young child. She graduated from East Monona High School and from Iowa State University. Sue married Ronnie Hull in 1971 and was blessed with three children: Melissa, Nora, and Leo. She farmed right along with Ronnie and farmed her own family farm. She loved working at the East Monona School and as a waitress at the Moorhead Cafe. When the Cafe would change owners Sue went along with the building.

Sue was an active member of Bethesda Lutheran Church in Moorhead, Iowa. She enjoyed playing bridge with her bridge group. She was an avid sports fan, especially watching Iowa State basketball. Sue coached little league softball and loved being a mother and grandmother.

Sue died on Monday, December 31, 2012, at her home in Moorhead at the age of 65 years, one month, and four days.

Sue was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Ronnie Hull. She is survived by her three children, Melissa (Dave) Klutts of Mondamin, IA, Nora (James) McGowen of Beaver Crossing, NE, and Leo Hull of Moorhead, IA; five grandchildren, Benjamin and Breanna Nuzum, Maxwell Honig, Lydia Jane and John Ronald McGowen; three brothers, Arnold (Marilynn) Ludwig of Jackson, California; Craig (Nancy) Ludwig of Shawnee Mission, Kansas and Jon (Barbara) Ludwig of Lincoln, Nebraska; mother-in-law, Edna Hull of Moorhead, Iowa; and many other relatives and friends.
