Timothy Mark Fischer was born on April 18, 1952, in Los Angeles, California to Leo and Frances (Carney) Fischer. He grew up in Los Angeles where he attended school. He moved to Wasington State and while there was blessed with two sons, Timothy Jr. and Jonathan. Tim later moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and while there he met Patricia. They were married in 2000. With this marriage he was blessed with a stepson, Jason. The family moved to Miami, Florida in 2007. In 2013, while in Maimi, Tim had an accident that caused a traumatic brain injury. He and Pat moved to Dunlap, Iowa in 2018. They attended Lifeline Church in Dunlap where they made many friends.
A true craftsman, Tim found immense joy in woodworking, where his skilled hands shaped beautiful pieces that he generously gave away, sharing his artistry with family and friends. Tim's adventurous spirit enjoyed scuba diving and his love for the outdoors extended to his meticulous care for his lawn. He and Pat spent many hours on the golf course and many evenings hosting house parties where Tim was the master at barbecuing. They also loved to travel together.
Tim died on Friday, August 1, 2025, at his home in Dunlap at the age of 73 years, three months and 14 days.
Tim was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife Pat; sons, Tim Fischer Jr and his wife Casey of Parker, Colorado and Jon Fischer and his wife Jennifer of Walla Walla, Washington; stepson, Jason Winn of Las Vegas; six grandchildren; brother, Tom Fischer and his wife Vicky of Oklahoma; special cousin, Cindi Wood of Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Janette Hanson of Dunlap; and many other relatives and friends.
