Wayne Jones

Wayne Edward Jones was born on October 13, 1958, in Sioux City, Iowa, to Kenneth “Shorty” and Boneva (Wolf) Jones. He grew up in South Sioux City and Waterbury, Nebraska. Wayne then earned his associates degree in engineering and spent his career as an over-the-road truck driver. He drove for Tera Chemicals, Coca-Cola, Rheems Sprinklers, and Guntren Trucking throughout his years on the road.

Wayne had a variety of interests and hobbies that brought him enjoyment throughout his life. He loved raising chickens and enjoyed the thought of gardening, even if he never quite got around to building the garden. Wayne also enjoyed watching cooking and home design shows, often drawing inspiration from them and dreaming up ideas for his own home. He enjoyed drinking iced tea, playing softball, and shopping. Wayne had a special interest in trains, as well. He enjoyed collecting model trains and was a member of a model railroad club in Sioux City, where he enjoyed connecting with others who shared his interest.
