Carl Gore

December 11, 1962 — November 29, 2021

Carl Gordon Gore was born on December 11, 1962, in Omaha, Nebraska to Daniel and Marjorie Jean (Heitmann) Gore. He attended school in Omaha until he decided to begin his roofing career. Carl spent many years as a roofer and worked his way up to be the foreman. In 1996, Carl underwent a double kidney transplant. Because of this, he didn’t have an easy life, but he worked hard to make the most out of every day he had.

Carl cherished the outdoors. He loved camping, fishing, the shooting range and going to the sandhills. He enjoyed keeping up with people on Facebook and had a great sense of humor. Most of all, he loved the time he had with his nieces and nephews. He enjoyed taking them places and telling them stories to help grow their imagination, especially about Bigfoot.

Carl died on Monday, November 29, 2021, at UNMC in Omaha, Nebraska at the age of 58 years, 11 months and 18 days.

Carl was preceded in death by his grandparents; parents, Daniel and Marjorie Gore; his brother, Danny Gore; and his fur babies, Chico, Beanie and Angus. He is survived by his three sisters, Sue and her husband Jimmy Roach of Logan, Iowa, Catherine Fagan of Tucson, Arizona and Beth and her husband Bob Barry of Omaha, Nebraska; many nieces and nephews; three aunts, Dorothy Weatherford of South Carolina, Betty Sila of Omaha and Rose and her husband Jack Pangburn of Atlantic, Iowa; numerous cousins; fur babies, Cain and Abel; and many other relatives and friends.
