Carol McCall

Carol Sue McCall was born on November 4, 1940, to Earl and Elva (Tillitson) Kirkpatrick in San Diego, California. She grew up and attended school in Clarksdale, California. Carol started working as a CNA. Through many moves she continued working as a CNA and then worked her way up to a Unit Clerk. She held many side jobs including bartending, waitressing and roofing houses. She was blessed with four children, Rebecca, Raye, Jesse and Cheryl.

Carol loved to read. She also enjoyed crocheting, crafting, fishing and road trips. On Saturdays, she loved to go to garage sales. Most of all, she loved spending time with her family.

Carol died on Monday, August 9, 2021, at Dunlap Specialty Care in Dunlap, Iowa at the age of 80 years, nine months and five days.

Carol was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Cheryl; son, Jesse; grandchildren, Bobby and Kelly; and seven sisters. She is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Coomes of Glendale, Arizona and Raye Jones of Council Bluffs, Iowa; five grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; brother, Jim Earl Kirkpatrick; sister, Nellie Heward; and many other relatives and friends.
