Charles Hutchins

Charles Andrew Hutchins, Jr, 55 of Glenwood, Iowa died on Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at the Jennie Edmundson Hospital in Council Bluffs, Iowa following a short illness.

Chuck was born on May 6, 1966 in Denison, Iowa to parents Charles and Marlene (Hein) Hutchins. Chuck graduated from Woodbine High School in 1984. He then attended Western Iowa Community College in the Automotive Body Repair program. After graduating he worked at Import Automotive in Irvington, Nebraska for 15 years. Chuck then started his own business Affordable Lawn Service.

Chuck liked to race his radio controlled race car, to fish and loved to ride his motorcycle.

Chuck is survived by his mother, Marlene Thompson and step father, John Thompson of Omaha, Nebraska; aunts and uncles, Robert Hein and his wife Liz of Avoca, Iowa, Joanne and her husband Lowell “ Jim” Siglin of Stark City, Missouri, Kenneth Hein and Myrlen Hein and his wife Susan all of Dunlap, Iowa and many cousins and friends.

A MEMORIAL SERVICE FOR BOTH CHUCK, AND HIS MOM MARLENE, WILL BE ON SATURDAY, JULY 31, 2021.

MEMORIAL DONATIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE FAMILY AND THEY WILL BE PASSING THEM ON TO A DIABETES FOUNDATION.
