Marilyn Davis

Marilyn Rae (Booton) Davis was the last child born to Raymond and Gertrude (Boyer) Booton on June 13, 1935, in Audubon, Iowa. She attended Audubon High School. Marilyn married Raymond Davis in 1980, and they made their home at 705 Montague Street in Dunlap. Marilyn was a member of the Saved by Grace Church. She loved Bible Study and was always wanting to learn more.

Marilyn loved hard crossword puzzles, playing cards and quiz programs. She worked in several of the cafes in Dunlap, cleaned houses and babysat for several families.

Marilyn passed away on Sunday, January 12, 2020, at the Dunlap Specialty Care Center, at the age of 84 years, six months and 30 days.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ray Davis on August 20, 1983; daughter, Julie Campbell on January 8, 1977; brothers, Chuck and Bob Booton; sisters, Martha Lacey, Marjorie Larsen, Bette Bancroft and Patricia Ross. She is survived by her daughter, Jacque (Steve) Hamblen of Dunlap, Iowa; sons, Jeff (Paula) Campbell of Dunlap and Mike (Debbie) Campbell of Branson, Missouri; grandchildren, Chad Mathep and Ryan Hamblen of Dunlap, Ty Campbell of Branson, Tiffany Smith of Cedar Park, Texas; two great-grandchildren, Corbin and Avery Smith of Cedar Park; and many other relatives and friends.
