Nancy Hoffmeier

Nancy Carol Hoffmeier was born on February 1, 1947, to Harry and Dorothy (Coyle) Boustead in Woodbine, Iowa. She grew up in Woodbine, graduating with the Class of 1965. Nancy went on to Concordia College in York, Nebraska where she earned her Bachelor's Degree in Education. She moved to Minneapolis where she worked an administrative job. Nancy then moved back to Iowa and taught at Job Corp in Denison, Iowa. She decided to further her education and attained her Master's Degree from University of Oklahoma. Nancy spent the rest of her working years working for Uta Halee Academy in Omaha, Nebraska and then for the State of Nebraska, both in positions where she was able to counsel and guide those that needed her help.

Nancy was a lover of animals. She especially loved the cats in her life. Nancy also enjoyed reading, gardening and flowers.

Nancy died on December 1, 2021, at Azria Heath Rose Vista in Woodbine, at the age of 74 years and 10 months.

Nancy was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her son Joshua Boustead and his wife Barbara of Gretna, Nebraska; grandson, Jaxon Boustead; and other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in memory of Nancy to the Nebraska Humane Society 8929 Fort St, Omaha, NE 68134.
