THE VISITATION IS AN OPEN VISITATION AND WE WILL LIMIT THE NUMBER OF PEOPLE IN THE FUNERAL HOME TO NO MORE THAN 10 AT ONE TIME.

THE FAMILY WILL NOT BE PRESENT.

Patricia Jeanne (Rigsby) Donscheski-Nutt was born on December 30, 1926, to Charles and Edna (Head) Rigsby in Dow City, Iowa. She attended the Dunlap Community Schools. At the age of 15, Patricia married Ralph Spencer and to this union four children were born. Patricia followed Ralph while he was in the service and when he worked for the railroad. They even lived in a bunk car for a while. In 1959, she was united in marriage to Leonard Donscheski and the couple made their home in Dunlap. The last two boys came along shortly after that.

Patricia enjoyed working. She worked many jobs including the 640th Club and the Red Lantern. In 1961, when the Worldwide Packing Plant, later Dubuque Packing Plant, opened in Denison, she went to work there. Patricia was a scale operator and worked there until it closed in 1989. When she wasn’t working, Patricia enjoyed playing BINGO and traveling. She especially liked going to the Ozarks. Patricia was a member of the United Methodist Church in Dunlap. Most of all, Patricia loved her time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Patricia died on April 19, 2020, at the Dunlap Specialty Care Center in Dunlap, at the age of 93 years, three months and 20 days.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; husbands; granddaughter, Tricia Littleton; and sister, Eleanor Schleidt. She is survived by six children, Jack Spencer of Omaha, Nebraska, Jeanne and husband Don Ehlers of Hancock, Iowa, Joan Littleton and Mike Petersen of Denison, Iowa, Janet and husband Randy McCoid of Panhandle, Texas, Bob Donscheski and wife Karen and Terry Donscheski and wife Kay all of Dunlap; 18 grandchildren; 34 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and many other relatives and friends.
