Patricia Ann (Olsen) Kelly was born March 6, 1931, to Milo and Goldie (Leach) Olsen in Sioux City, Iowa. She graduated from Dunlap High School in 1950. On June 11, 1950, Patricia married Leonard Bolton at the United Methodist Church in Dunlap, and to this union five children were born: Linda, Bonnie, Jeff, Julie and Steve. The couple farmed and raised their family on the Bolton Farm. Patricia was a farm wife and kept busy raising her children, cooking meals for the hired help, taking her children to their various schooling and sporting events, and gardening. Patricia later married Patrick “Pat” Kelly.

Patricia was a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Dunlap, Eastern Star, and the Boyer Valley Sunshine Club. She was an accomplished ballroom dancer. She won many trophies and danced until she was 85 years old. Patricia traveled all of Europe to create her art; consisting of paintings, drawings and sketches. She was a remarkable artist. Patricia cherished her children and grandchildren.

Patricia died on Thursday, March 26, 2020, at the Dunlap Specialty Care Center at the age of 89 years and 20 days.

Patricia was preceded in death by her parents; son, Jeffery Bolton on February 20, 2020; and son-in-law, Sid Lehan in 2004. She is survived by her children, Linda Lehan Dane and her husband Alan Dane of Omaha, Nebraska, Bonnie and her husband Bob Peterson of Omaha, Nebraska, Julie and her husband Jim Thrasher of Buckeye, Arizona, and Steve Bolton and his wife Felicia of Palm Harbor, Florida; daughter-in-law, Penny Bolton of Dunlap, Iowa; 10 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and many other relatives and friends.
